การรับชม “ลาลีกา” ในรูปแบบใหม่

ผมได้รับบทความนี้ส่งมาให้จากคุณ โจเซ่ มาเรีย โกตอร์ ตัวแทนลีกลาลีกา ประเทศไทย และในภูมิภาคอาเซียน โดยได้รับการบอกเล่าว่า “ท็อป อันนี้สำคัญนะ นายลองอ่านดู”
การรับชม “ลาลีกา” ในรูปแบบใหม่

นอกจากนี้ ในฐานะที่ “ไข่มุกดำ กรุ๊ป” เป็นพาร์ตเนอร์รายหนึ่งในบ้านเราให้กับลาลีกา ผมก็มีหน้าที่ในการติดต่อพาร์ตเนอร์ด้านโทรคมนาคมให้กับคุณ โจเซ่ เพื่อจะสานต่อ “นโยบาย 10 ปีลาลีกา” ที่จะมีเทคโนโลยีโดยเฉพาะ OTT (Over-the-top) แพลตฟอร์มเป็นเครื่องมือสำคัญ และเป็นตัวอักษร 3 ตัวที่ผู้นำลีกสเปน ฆาเบียร์ เตบาส ในฐานะประธานลาลีกา ให้ความสำคัญเอามาก ๆ

ทั้งนี้ แม้จะได้รับผลกระทบจากโควิด-19 จนวงการฟุตบอลทั่วโลกต้องปรับตัว แต่ในส่วนบอลสเปนเองมองว่า ไม่อยากให้โรคนี้ส่งผลกระทบถึงแผนการสร้างการเติบโตในระยะยาว และการมองหาหนทางสร้างรายได้ใหม่ ๆ อีกทั้งประธานลาลีกา ยังกล่าวว่า ลาลีกา มีแผนจะคัมแบ็กกลับมาให้แข็งแกร่งยิ่งกว่าเดิมหลังพ้นวิกฤติ โควิด-19 ไปแล้วอีกด้วย

โดยจากการให้สัมภาษณ์ผ่าน World Football Summit หรือ WFS แบบ LIVE สดตามแนวทาง Social Distancing เมื่อปลายปีที่ผ่านมาอันเป็นอีเวนต์ WFS ที่ผมเองเคยได้รับเชิญจาก “ลาลีกา” ให้เข้าร่วมเดินทางไปสัมมนาด้วยหลายหนทั้งในเมืองไทย และต่างประเทศ เตบาส พูดถึงการเติบโตของลาลีกาในโลกดิจิตอล และการเติบโตของรายได้ผ่านช่องทางใหม่นี้ว่าจะมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งยวดในอนาคตของฟุตบอล

“เราได้เริ่มต้นแผนฟุตบอล 10 ปีกันแล้ว ตอนนี้เรามีความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับสิ่งที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นด้านลิขสิทธิ์คอนเทนท์ที่เรียกว่า โสตทัศนูปกรณ์ หรือคอนเทนท์ภาพเคลื่อนไหว และเสียง (Audiovisual) ไปจนถึงประโยชน์จากการใช้เทคโนโลยี Over-the-top (OTT*) แพลตฟอร์ม ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งเข้ามาใหม่ และจะอยู่ต่อไปในแผนระยะยาวของการเปลี่ยนแปลงวิถีการติดตามฟุตบอล”

(OTT ง่าย ๆ คือ บริการด้านการสื่อสารไม่ว่าจะแพร่ภาพ หรือเสียงผ่านอินเทอร์เน็ตโดยผู้ให้บริการไม่ต้องลงทุนโครงข่ายสัญญาณเอง YouTube, Netflix, Viu พวกนี้จัดเป็น OTT ทั้งหมด)

“ผมคิดว่า อีกจนถึง 10 ปีข้างหน้า สิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุดสำหรับเรา คือ การสร้างระบบนิเวศดิจิทัลที่มาจากการเชื่อมต่อหลายระบบ และบริการของโลกดิจิทัลเข้าด้วยกัน เราเองก็กำลังทำงานด้านนี้มาหลายปีแล้ว และได้ลงทุนมหาศาลไปกับมัน ไปกับการทำ OTT และการต่อต้านการชม (เข้าถึงสัญญาณ) แบบผิดกฎหมาย”

“มันมีแหล่งในการสร้างรายได้ที่อื่นที่เราพยายามเข้าหาในรอบหลายปีที่ผ่านมาที่มีความสำคัญ และน่าจะช่วยส่งเสริมการเติบโตด้านลิขสิทธิ์คอนเทนท์ภาพเคลื่อนไหว และเสียง เพราะมันจะมีโลกดิจิทัล OTT และหลากหลายบริการที่คุณสามารถจะหยิบยื่นให้กับแฟนบอลทั่วโลกได้เลือกใช้บริการตามต้องการ”

การเริ่มต้นของ “ลาลีกา พาส”

ลาลีกา จะเป็นเจ้าของการบริการ OTT, LaLigaSportsTV ซึ่งเปิดตัวไปเมื่อต้นปี 2019 อันถือเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นที่ ลาลีกา มองว่า จะเป็นย่างก้าวสำคัญต่ออุตสาหกรรมฟุตบอลในอนาคตอีก 10 ปีข้างหน้า

“แน่นอน นั่นถือเป็นโมเดลที่ฉลาดสำหรับการเติบโตของลีก เรากำลังทำงานกันอยู่ และใกล้แล้วกับเป้าหมาย ลาลีกา พาส” เตบาส พูดถึง NBA League Pass ที่ NBA ถือลิขสิทธิ์คอนเทนท์ และเป็นเจ้าภาพดูแลเรื่องให้บริการสมาชิกเอง เทียบเคียงกับกำเนิด ลาลีกา พาส

“ลาลีกา พาส จะเป็นโปรดักต์ที่ยืดหยุ่นกับแต่ละประเทศทั่วโลก และสามารถนำเสนอให้เกิดการทำงานร่วมกันกับสื่อถ่ายทอดสดในแต่ละพื้นที่ได้ มันจะเป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้ผู้คนชอบลาลีกามาก ๆ เฉพาะอย่างยิ่งซูเปอร์แฟนตัวยงที่อาศัยในท้องถิ่นซึ่งเข้าถึงแค่การถ่ายทอดสดได้ไม่กี่แมตช์ หรือแค่ไฮไลต์ในแต่ละสัปดาห์ โดยคุณจะทำให้แฟน ๆ เหล่านี้ได้เสพคอนเทนท์มากกว่าที่พวกเขาต้องการ และจะช่วยให้บรอดคาสเตอร์สร้างมูลค่าจากคอนเทนท์ได้มากขึ้น”

ลาลีกา ก็เหมือนลีกฟุตบอลทั่วไปที่ต้องผ่านเป้าหมายระยะสั้นต่อสู้กับ “โควิด-19” ให้ได้เสียก่อน และนั่นคือเป้าหมายร่วมกันของโลกฟุตบอลเลยก็ว่าได้ครับ

สุดท้าย หากได้อ่านถึงตรงนี้ เรื่องวันนี้อาจ “ล่วงหน้า” ไปสักนิด แต่ชาวเราเริ่มจะ “เข้าใจ” และคุ้นชินกันมากขึ้นแล้วล่ะครับผ่านการชมฟุตบอลผ่านกล่อง เช่น TrueID TV หรือ AIS Play Box ที่จะมีคอนเทนท์ฟุตบอลหลากหลายของ broadcasters เช่น ทรู วิชั่นส์, beIN Sports, UEFA ฯลฯ ซ่อนอยู่ภายใน

ทั้งหมด คือ OTT รับชมผ่านกล่องรับชม หรือผ่านการ Cast จากมือถือ และอุปกรณ์ที่ใช้สัญญาณอินเทอร์เน็ตเป็นตัวกลางขับเคลื่อนสัญญาณให้เราได้ชมทั้งภาพเคลื่อนไหว และเสียงแบบไม่กระตุก เพราะโลกทุกวันนี้ สัญญาณเน็ตเร็วปรี๊ดเพียงพอแล้ว

ที่พูดในวันนี้ หมายความว่า ต่อไป “ลีกยุโรป” จะมีโมเดล “ขายตรง” คอนเทนท์ฟุตบอลอีกช่องทางหนึ่งโดยไม่ผ่าน broadcasters ท้องถิ่น หรือร่วมมือกัน หรือแยกกัน หรืออะไรก็สุดแล้วแต่เพื่อประโยชน์สูงสุดของทั้งผู้ชม (แฟนบอล) และโอเปอเรเตอร์ท้องถิ่น และลีกเอง

ที่สำคัญ คือ โลกของ “ของฟรี” คอนเทนท์ฟรี ก็อาจไม่มีแล้วเช่นกัน แต่ทว่าราคาไม่น่าจะแพงหูฉี่ครับ
